Where to Watch Football in Morocco, City by City
Cafés, bars and restaurants showing football in Morocco: find a screen tonight, know what to check, and city-by-city guides.
The match is watched out — you just need to know where
In Morocco, watching a match has never been a living-room affair. It happens at the café, the bar, the restaurant, standing up, in the middle of the noise. The only question left, once evening comes, is which place is showing what — and until now that got settled by word of mouth and a phone call.
The CaféMatch map does exactly that: it shows the venues around you and the matches they've announced for tonight. It's free to check, no account needed, anywhere in Morocco.
Five things worth checking before you sit down
- Number of screens. One screen means one match. If two games interest you the same evening, look for a place with several.
- The terrace. It changes everything in spring and summer. Listings show which ones have one.
- Air conditioning. Watching a summer match indoors without it is a mistake you only make once.
- The projector. For a big match, it's the difference between following the game and living it.
- What other fans say. Atmosphere doesn't show up in a photo. Ratings and comments from people who were there do.
Reading a listing in ten seconds
A listing has three parts: what the venue offers, what it's showing tonight, and what fans say about it. The first lets you compare, the second decides, the third breaks the tie.
When two places look equal on paper, check the number of reviews before the rating. A 4.8 average from three reviews says a lot less than a 4.3 average from forty.

Book ahead when the match is a big one
A derby, a match of the Atlas Lions, a final: the good tables go before kickoff. Booking happens straight from the venue's listing — it's all explained in our guide to booking a table.
The right time to arrive
For a weekday league match, fifteen minutes ahead is enough. For a national fixture, allow an hour — more if you're after a terrace table on a summer evening. Places fill up fastest in the half hour before kickoff, never before.
What CaféMatch doesn't do
CaféMatch doesn't broadcast any match and doesn't host any video stream. The app shows where to watch, at venues that hold the rights, and tracks scores live. Between matchdays, the news feed gathers Moroccan sports press in one place.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know which café is showing the match tonight?
Open the CaféMatch map: it shows cafés, bars and restaurants around you and the matches each one has announced for the evening. Every listing gives the screens, the terrace, the air conditioning and what other fans have said.
Do I need to pay or create an account?
No. Searching for a venue and checking matches is free, and the map can be browsed without an account. A free account only becomes useful for booking, predicting, leaving a review or posting.
Do I need to book to watch a match at a café?
Not for an ordinary fixture. For a derby, an Atlas Lions match or a final, yes: tables go before kickoff, and booking happens straight from the venue's listing.
Which Moroccan cities does CaféMatch actually cover?
All over Morocco. Coverage is densest in Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Tangier, Fez and Agadir, and it keeps growing as more owners list their venue.
